Wat Phayap is a temple located in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat City), known for its unique cave temple. The temple gained its name from Parat Cha Wemonree, the head monk and originator of the cave temple. The cave was discovered by a construction company during foundation digging and was eventually moved into the temple at the request of spiritual advisors. The cave temple is decorated with calcite and features a golden Buddha, as well as real stalactites and stalagmites brought from other caves. Despite some negative reviews, visitors have described Wat Phayap as a clean, tranquil and impressive site.

Wat Phayap is a temple that is worth a visit if you are in Nakhon Ratchasima. It is distinguished by its white marble ubosot, its bai sema in the shape of rocks, and its artificial cave decorated with crystals and Buddha statues. It is a peaceful and original place, which testifies to the cultural and historical richness of the region. I was impressed by the beauty and diversity of the architectural and decorative elements of the temple. I highly recommend visiting this temple if you like discovering unusual and charming places.

It is one of the oldest temples in Korat during the reign of King Narai the Great. The main Buddha image is the first sermon prang. There is also a cave with stalagmites and stalactites brought from rock blasting in Saraburi Province. Mixed together to make a beautiful cave, another interesting tourist attraction in the city.

Sacred and beautiful, there should have been a cloth talisman of Lord Narayana riding Garuda or Garuda to be worshipped.
